Dear follower,

I'm very sorry for not posting for so long and I'm even more sorry because you won't hear from me for the whole next week, too. I was really pretty ill till now but tomorrow I'm going on a study trip with my school to Athens for a week.

I hope to take a lot of nice photos there and also when I'm back there will be A LOT of photoshoots for you to see since I'm currently collaborating with a some brands.

Last Thursday my friend Johanna and I went to Berlin to visit the Premium and the Bread & Butter.

Last Tuesday I got an invitation to Bread & Butter from the awesome people from Meltin' Pot! You can't imagine how surprised and happy I was. They even invited me to the opening of the Meltin' Pot pop up store but it was on Wednesday and since here in Bavaria the summer holidays haven't started yet, I couldn't go there. But as you can see in these photos I was shopping in Berlin on Thursday and at the Bread & Butter trade show on Friday. It was just really really nice to see all the new collections and also the location was pretty cool. So at this point I want to thank Meltin' Pot again very much for giving me the chance to make this great experience. I'll post something about their new collection later this week.

Here are some photos I took there but please don't be peeved at me for the quality. These photos were taken with my aunts camera which I just cant just because I seem to be too dumb for it. I had to send my camera back to canon again because they just didn't fix the problem. Hope it will be back soon.

I was at rock im park last weekend and it was pretty awesome, especially Friday: Bonaparte, Kooks and Coldplay were legen... wait for ist ...dary (sry I love Barney). But also Sunday war great with Robert Francis first row (so looking forward to his new album), Plain white T's (they're just so good live), Mando Diao of course, Kings of Leon (little disappointing) and Deadmau5.

I heard a few songs from We Are Scientists as well, I didn't knew them before but really like their music and keith murray's hair!

I couldn't take that much photos (I'm so small) but here you see some and maybe I'll post a video in a few days and a festival outit

Kooks... well it's brit indie pop either you like it or you don't. I do.
Naive

Coldplay was just so awesome! They threw balloons into the crowd and pastell butterflys came out of them it when they burst. Indescribable beautiful and the band is live even better.

You know I love Robert Francis, don't you? So I was pretty sad when he only played for half an hour, but still he's just a real musican. You should see him playing guitar, it's passion.

Plain White T's were great, also when it started to rain. It was so worth it! They played predominantly songs from their new album The Wonders Of The Younger but also hits like Hey There Deleilah, Hate and Our Time Now. And I'm so in love with that striped guitar, thinking about painting mine like this, too.

The guys fom Mando Diao played almost all of the songs which also are on the MTV unplugged CD, even my favourite song If I don't live today. It was just really very good.

I know they were Sunday's top act but I was a bit disappointed from Kings of Leon. I mean their hits are great but all the other songs sound so similar ... I liked their older album better.

“Hair Lust,” a series of drawings by illustrator Laura Rosenbaum will debut at the opening of HurlyBurly, the Graduate Illustration group show opening at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology on June 7, 2011.

Rosenbaum portrays characterizations of hair envy, lust, and fascination in her sketchbook. Using lines and simple poetry, she expresses how women feel about their different hair textures and how they use their manes to define themselves. Describing the project, Rosenbaum stated: “Nothing else quite compares to the way a girl sees herself through her hair. My capstone project, ‘Hair Lust,’ is a series of intimate drawings and prose about the introspective relationship between girls and their hair.”

“My drawings speak to this magical fiber, its silky lure, and all the yearning it induces. Whether it is curly, straight, wavy, kinky, fluffy, or thin, it slides, bounces, and dances, creating a life of its own,” she continued.

The images in “Hair Lust” present beauty through a spectrum of different hair types. Sometimes humorous and sometimes longing, Rosenbaum’s drawings and prose flirt with magic and desire.

The Museum will host an opening from 5:30-7:30pm on June 7. The show will be on view through July 2, 2011. The Museum at F.I.T. is located at Seventh Avenue and 27 Street. Laura Rosenbaum is an illustrator, writer, and designer living in Brooklyn, NY. A half Jewish/half Dominican native New Yorker, she is inspired by her scattered freckles and abounding curly hair. She uses paper, ink, digital media, and makeup to create illustrations that mix girlish sass with fashion magic. Her clients include Glamour Spain, Nylon Japan, the New York City Department of Education, and KnollTextiles.

Commenting on Rosenbaum’s works, Juliane Pieper, Jitter Magazine for Visual Design, writes: “Laura’s girls rule their world with untamed hair and manicured nails in rainbow colors. The artist's sassy writing adds an ironic bite to the elegant and playful line she uses to draw her females. Her handwriting is as fresh as the girls in her images whose edge is their mystery, their strength.”

I'm so looking forward to be in a city again where a topshop store is. Especially because I lost my lovely college jacket, which i bought in London! Really like the new collection and this video also if it reminds me a bit of the wildfox videos...

Since I've been in London now for about 3 times I wanted to see Paris anyway, but now that I've seen this video and of course season 4 of gossip girl, I really know where I want to be this summer.

So I really hope I can post my own impressions of the city of love and fashion soon.

S/S 2011 I definitely have a huge crush on the Cacharel collection. It's got all the trends in there but still dosen't look too much at all!

I think it's a great balance between bright colors, minimalism, feminine fabrics and floral.

My favourite dress is this one, because of its feminine fit and the bright electric blue color, love that. It's probably also my favourite trend for this spring/summer: BRIGHT COLORS

especially if you wear only one bright piece with nude, white or black.

You see like the dip dyed hair thing ?

I think even bright thights make a simple outfit special, so it's a trend everybody can wear because you can style it in so many different ways!
